A House In The Country

The house is big, well it has to be to sleep 10 people but somehow it's still quite intimate. The important thing is there's room for the kids to play and spread out. That way everyone can get a bit of piece and quiet (ie. me) If I could just fix it so that a certain little darling didn't wake at 03.00 and stay awake for a couple of hours life would be good.
Each of the five bedrooms is ensuite so plenty of room for the adults to spread out as well! Purrfect.
There are two television rooms with lots of games, plenty of tables and chairs to eat either in or out, a fully functioning kitchen and a large swimming pool. All in all, a good, if somewhat isolated, spot for a large family gathering. In fact very good if the kids make a lot of noise.
Very nearby is a Sol Melia Hotel which is set in the grounds of the Catalunya PGA Golf Course and from where I can get connected. A bit of a drag but not too much of a problem. In fact the lack of wifi is the only real negative that I can see.
As I write, three males of our party have just driven off to ask, at the very fancy, highly professional golf club, where they can pitch and put. That should be fun to watch?
I'll post pictures here when I have figured out how to do it.
Just figured it out.
Adeu, (Catalan for ta ta).

  1. It sounds and looks like paradise.
Especially considering it's 11°C and raining here in Derbyshire today.....wonder if North Yorkshire is any better ?!

  2. Paradise is just a bit too strong when one person doesn't pull their weight.
