One hell of a statement
Look, I know that Depardieu is a bit of a crackpot but it's a sorry reflection on the present French government when an individual would rather be Russian than French.
Whereas in the UK it's ok to earn millions and pay no tax at all, apprently. It's only the mugs in the middle like us that are keeping the country afloat.
I know - it's mad. The latest instalment in this story is bizarre but has given me a chuckle. I await the next episode with anticipation. Mind you I would rather pay the russian rate of tax at 13% instead of the standard UK rate of 20% - hey maybe it's not such a mad idea after all!
