The first article I came across concerns the direction of travel of luggage carousels around the world. How cool is that?
The story continues. More musings from a returning expat Yorkshireman.

Is there dog in it?
Anyway, we're lying in bed this morning and my beloved asked me what I wanted for breakfast.
'A little byriani,' I said.
'What?' she shouted at me. And then the argument started.
After a few minutes of argie bargie Jan said, 'OK, I can do you some rice with a little Korean curry sauce mixed in,' (left over from a meal on Saturday). I nearly fell out of bed in surprise.
Wow, come on boys and girls, is this service or what?
I wonder what I can dream up for tomorrow?

How to treat a girl
The place was packed, probably because the weather the previous day was a bit miserable but despite this it was an interesting and tasty experience. Recommended.
To show what foodies we are, after watching an advert on television, I mentioned to Jan that I fancied a Sausage and Egg McMuffin.
'You know what?' she said, 'so do I.' So that was it, from the exoctic variety of food in one location, to the other tasty and cheap end at McDonalds. I really know how to treat a girl!

Amazing
Note: When I searched online for a picture of a stupid woman the picture above came up. I'm not sure why.

A little trip out
However, we are trying to change that as we live here. Yesterday was a case in point. Neither of us had ever visited a 14C moated manor house before and there is one just near us, about ten minutes away.
Markenfield Hall has a fascinating history and was first mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086. Rather than copy chunks from the history tab, click on the link and take a look yourself.
