The place was packed, probably because the weather the previous day was a bit miserable but despite this it was an interesting and tasty experience. Recommended.
To show what foodies we are, after watching an advert on television, I mentioned to Jan that I fancied a Sausage and Egg McMuffin.
'You know what?' she said, 'so do I.' So that was it, from the exoctic variety of food in one location, to the other tasty and cheap end at McDonalds. I really know how to treat a girl!
That sounds like a cracking day out. I average about one egg McMuffin a year and because I eat them so irregularly they always taste great - forbidden fruit and all that.
ReplyDeleteI don't like McD burgers though. When I was in Glasgow last week I had a craving for a whopper (no sniggering) while walking past a Burger King. I've not had one in about 7 or 8 years. It was heaven.
If only they weren't so bad for you.
We're up to two a year and, as you say, it is forbidden fruit.
