We used Lidl in France for an occasional shop because we were new to the shop and didn't feel you could do a complete weekly shop because they didn't offer say fresh milk. That may have changed now. I loved the centre isles where I could buy everything I never knew I needed, cheap. Lidl in the UK offers a slightly wider range but has smaller centre isles and we don't have one too near. So it's back to the occasional shop.
Great! Sums them up exactly... We go every week both in France and the UK and you can hardly tell the difference!
