I need sunglasses
Look, it may be sunny and very warm in the south of France but it ain't that bad here.
What is funny here is the vast swathes of snow white flesh on show as the good folks of Yorkshire change into shorts and skinny tops as soon as the sun appears.
Frankly, it isn't that warm and not only is all the snow white flesh blinding, it's also not a very pretty sight but then I suspect that the good folks of Yorkshire probably couldn't give a toss what anyone thinks.
Vive la différence.

Our tourists (vandals who come here stealing our sunshine) start wearing shorts very early in the year.
ReplyDeleteI followed a Brit family across the footbridge into Sommieres for the market yesterday.
Same expanse of white flesh and shorts contrasting with my jeans and fleece (which I later took off).
Peter
Isn't that the truth! And why is it always the ones with the extra supply of white flesh who are the quickest to disrobe?
ReplyDeleteHi Peter, Craig, it took me ages to understand why the French would still be wearing overcoats when for me it was time to get into shorts. I guess it's just a question of what you consider hot. There should be some kind of bye-law with regards the amount of white flesh you are allowed to display.
