By what measure can anybody consider Amy Winehouse, 'Camden's Finest.' She was without doubt a fine singer but to call her Camden's Finest is a huge insult to the rest of Camden's inhabitants.
What a very muddled world we live in.

I think there's a word missing from the piece. "Addict", "lowlife", "victim" spring to mind...

ReplyDeleteThe truth is, she was a fantastic song writer and singer who took a wrong turn in her life and ended the way she did. A total shame, waste of a life. But to call her "Camden's finest", is a bit offensive to Camden and its residents, I would have thought... (and I'm sure Ed agrees with me!).
