Think you're clever?
After my little soul searching yesterday, with some (most) displaying a distinct leaning towards Jan, may I express my disappointment at the cavalier comments and sentiments.
Here I am flogging my guts out trying to write something to educate you lot when all I get is abuse.
On the subject of educating you, did you know that, this July has five Fridays, five Saturdays and five Sundays and that this only happens every 823 years. Think you're clever?
Did you know that this year we are going to experience four unusual dates, 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11 and 11/11/11. Think you're clever?
Take the last two digits of the year that you were born and add the age that you will be this year. The answer will come to 111 and that applies to everyone. Think you're clever?

Well I was going to leave a comment but now I'm a bit afraid to.
ReplyDeleteYou're a God Alex and we're lucky to have you.
What font do you use for sarcasm by the way... :)
Interesting about the dates.
You're a God.............That's good, very good.
ReplyDeleteDid I say God? Damn this dislexia...
ReplyDeleteDo you know Craig I was so tempted to say that but don't know Alex well enough.
ReplyDeleteDon't let that stop you Kathy, it's never stopped Craig.
ReplyDeleteKathy - even if you don't know him well you should still say what you think! Craig - please don't encourage him. At one point he was thinking of starting a new religion. I can cope with one more dog, but a God, no!
ReplyDeleteThe 111 thing has me mystified. I have tried it for everyone whose birthday I know and you're right, always 111. Why should that be then, Alex, if you're really clever you will know the answer to that...........
ReplyDeleteOnly those of us on a higher plane have that kind of knowledge. When you join my religion and subscribe in the normal way, all will become clear. The path to enlightenment is long and the knowledge can usually be found after several months of study (and several thousand pounds). Well worth it.
ReplyDeleteIs your religion called Confusionism perchance? If so I am already a fully paid up member.
ReplyDeleteKathy, that's excellent but you will still have to pay your dues.
ReplyDeleteOr we could just send some pies... we know that works :)
ReplyDeleteWould you hate me if I told you to look at the calendar for October 2010????????
ReplyDeleteIn fact five Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays happens every time the 1st day of a 31 day month is on a Friday.
Think you're clever?
Craig, pies are good but I'm not sure that I could eat that many. Best if you just send the money and I could get the pies or whatever when I need them.
ReplyDeleteKaren, you need to look forward and not dwell in the past. All will become clear but you have to put more effort in (including your monthly subs).
Lol! OK, looking forward, March 2013. Last I heard, July 2011 to March 2013 was not 823 years, but being of only meagre intelligence, lacking effort and the dosh for the monthly subs, I stand to be corrected on this point.
ReplyDeleteRealising how little you know and the need to improve is the first step. Excellent. Now, when you have saved up enough money and want to move further 'up the ladder' let my people know and you will be saved.
