One for Craig

  1. That is bloody hilarious.
And you know what, it's quite right. I have an English accent, not a Scottish one, but even so, when we lived in the states, both Bank of America and American Airlines would be unable to recognize my voice over sign in for telephone access. I'm ashamed to say that I often acted as these two do by yelling at the telephone out of frustration!
    Thanks a lot!

  2. I remember when we spoke that you had an English accent but I thought that you'd like this. My pleasure.

  3. Hi Alex - I'm happy to say I was referred to your blog by someone with good taste - He wasn't wrong. Loved the video clip - and soooo true. I still don't have a mobile phone in my name here in Australia because to register you need to speak to voice recognition software. Vodafone have me (Rory Grant - Brisbane) registered as Mr Hoi Chan from 'Distance'. I even try the varying accents to change it but my wife insists all my accents (American, Irish, English and Australian) all sound Scottish.

    Hoi Chan
